Your new owner/hosts Ken and Lyn opened the newly refurbished Breakwater Motel on April 01 2012. 

Ken has owned a 25 unit motel in Fox Glacier on the West Coast of the South Island and looks forward to welcoming you to another magnificent location of New Zealand in the warmer climate of the Winterless North.

We welcome you to join us and relax beside the sea.  Just take a four minute stroll to the restaurants, cafes, shops, information centre and Paihia Wharf.  Follow the coastline 2.2kms north and you will find the Waitangi Treaty Grounds. Paihia is the perfect base to explore Northland.
